Highly flavorful. One of the best cooking varieties. It is ready late in the season. It has 8-10 brilliant red cloves per bulb. It stores well - 4-6 months. In Sunset Magazine, Martha Stewart had a taste test and Chesnok Red won for best baking garlic. A little bit spicy and somewhat sweet in flavor.
