It is fun to grow bacuse it is sooo big! Easily gets to 3-6 inches. It has lots of uses. Use it any way you would use a leek and want a little garlic flavor. Sliced raw is great in most any dish. Baked it has a wonderfully sweet and mlid flavor. It comes from the Scottish Highlands so is easy to grow in cold wet climates. No bugs, rodents, deer like it - that's nice. It has a pretty scape when left to mature. Could be part of your landscape, too. Buy some to plant and some to eat. You won't be dissappointed .
